Dear Members and Friends,

We take this opportunity of wishing you all a happy, healthy and prosperous 2009 and look forward to seeing you again at the many exciting events the new committee is planning to organise for you and your family during the year.

As members, you have all contributed to the success of the association, helping MABL achieve the goals it set out at the start of last year. Your support has been invaluable at the many events organised last year, contributing to the ongoing success of MABL. For this we offer our thanks as we know that without our members there would be no Association.

Currently, our membership stands at 75 people. This year, with your help, we hope to increase our membership by inviting you to ask your friends, colleagues, relatives and others to join MABL, take part in cultural and other activities, meet other Malaysians and enjoy a little part of Malaysia in Belgium.

On the subject of membership: membership subscriptions for 2009 are now due. Annual subscription rates given below:

Student - €18
Individual - €28
Family - €38 (including children 18 years and below at time of membership application)
Corporate (2 nominees) - €118
